What is going on with Lisa's sales?

I've noticed a lot of Lisa fans have been subtly and not so subtly saying there is something strange going on with her sales. I've seen a lot of people claim that she's sold more than her group but yg is doing something to sabotage that. There was also a thread on the main forum where a blink was asking when her sales would be updated but they never explained what they meant. Can someone explain this to me?

Wasn't there a chinese ban or something cuz I remember LisaBar and other chinese fans

They said it sold 950,000 like 6 months ago but still did not happen

Lalisa first week hanteo sales were greater than The Album's so it was assumed the gaon total would at least be around the same level but when gaon numbers released it was like the same amount as her hanteo (normally gaon sales are a lot higher than hanteo). Then fans thought that it was because of a delay in shipment and the full amount would be updated next time but it hasn't really increased much at all in the following updates. Even Rosé's album sales increased more than Lalisa since then. It's a little weird but I doubt it's sabotage

A lot of fans have been saying their prepaid orders got cancelled and so many of them haven't received theirs even it has been months. Yg plus also did notify once to certain fans that they are apologising, it would take some time for the orders to be shipped due to stock issues but that was in early Feb or late jan i think. Plus this month they literally didn't update anything on gaon for Lalisa sales, which is so weird.

The Album has a much bigger and better international distribution that Lalisa could only dream and It does help to increase Gaon numbers. So people who thought both albums would be around the same level because of Hanteo were naive.

Hanteo gaon gaps aren't a good argument for this imo. Even though Lisa is from blackpink, her fanbases are concentrated in different areas from the group so it's not too weird that her hanteo and gaon numbers are so close.

I agree it's weird how her sales haven't moved much even though yg reported 950k sales initially. No one else from the company seems to be facing such delays in shipping.

I doubt there’s anything truly strange. The numbers are quite similar to the pre-order numbers the company officially state. There was a higher number discussed but that was from investors/predictors and not the company officially. I also doubt Lalisa outsold The Album. If anything, these solo projects prove that the next BP album will do insane numbers.

yg mediaplayed 950k sales and the album is not selling anymore. It is stuck at 800k sales. First let her reach the number yg reported then talk about sabotage.

YG never said that 950k numbers, it was from the business reports stuff posted every months, the same ones that said BP will comeback in the 4th quarter of 2021...

Idk exatcly what's happening with the sales but I think it's stock issue. Last month her hanteo numbers were around 15k I believe but it's not even on top100 Gaon so it's clearly shipping issues.

As for solo stans comparing with The Album, Blackpink's was distributed worldwide, Lalisa and -R- weren't. I remember reading a Virgin store tweet, they were saying they finally have Lalisa albums but in limited quantity.

It's clearly shipping or production issues. Why else would her album not be moving at all on Gaon while every other BP physical release sells a few thousand with each monthly update? ...It just doesn't make sense for people to be buying more copies of Square Up right now than Lalisa

For those screaming YG mediaplay as always... YG doesn't need to mediaplay anything when it comes to Lisa lol, she's still outselling every other gg besides her own and MONEY is actually bigger than any BP song internationally

Why not? Not every BP stan will care about solo albums. I mean bp as group is still bigger than any member alone

So basically they're not making any shipments so the hanteo sales from the past month are solely from the gaon number that was shipped initially. Right?

I think the question stans have is why only her album in particular is facing these types of issues. The other albums are selling and being shipped normally.

Lisa's single album was #16 on the Hanteo daily chart yesterday (444 units), #73 last week (463 units), and #18 last month (14,885 units) so it seems that production issues have been resolved and now albums are being distributed.

In comparison, R was #17 yesterday (414 units), #94 last week (326 units), and #34 last month (7,938 units).

This is just some random reports posted by a "journalist" it wasn't from YG.

YG official news are always posted by the media "Osen". YG only made a statement about the 800k.

The thing is her album sales are always updated on hanteo , you also can see the sales on Ktown4u chart, last month 11k albums were bought on that store alone, Hanteo reported 15k but Gaon n/a that mean albums were bought but not shipped.
