Eleven did 14 weeks top10. Savage didn't touch that. Those 2 paks of savage aren't worth anything.

Eleven did really well but to be honest it was release in december, which is a pretty dry months in term of comeback which was a good promotion tactics and then the only competition it have to face was
- GOT the beat which was an unpromoted group with an unpromoted song which doesn't help to have a great longevity
- Can't control myself from Taeyeon which was also a non promoted song
now that it's facing more serious contestant like :
- Taeyeon Invu which is promoted and help it to achieve great result
- StayC who are also promoting run2u
you can see that Eleven is having a hard time keeping their longevity in the top 10
i'm not denying the fact that eleven did incredibly well in the chart in korea, but we need to look at the context and they lacked of direct competition for the first 2 months after Eleven releaseand now that they are facing more competition it went from #5 on melon top 100 to #11 in just few days
meanwhile aespa had a more direct competition considering that IU made her comeback just 3-4 days after Aespa comeback which already made them lose their #1 spot and it was going strong in #2-#3 spot
until Show me the money release all the soundtrack of the show during the peak popularity of the show and take over the top 10 of melon
Aespa have to face a more direct competition in the chart during Savage release than eleven did
but at the end both songs did well

Even if it that were so, does it matter? Isn't the whole point of promotion to boost the song? If it didn't help boost the song then you guys would turn around and say they had a fail promotion or the song wasn't good. But the reality of the situation was that if the song wasn't good or meant to do well no amount of promoting in the world would help them chart like they did.
Many other groups have gone on to promote and still not received in a tenth of Eleven's results.

No. Eleven did better because it is a better liked song. Savage had a higher peak but couldn't maintain that because people didn't like it that much after a few listens. I think it charted so high initially because of hype from next level.
