It doesn't sound as good, but I enjoy the performance way more. I'm actually surprised that all of Alligator performances weren't straight lip sync considering the choreo.

There's nothing wrong with lipsyncing and all groups have or will do it at certain times. I personally prefer a performance where I can hear some vocals though.

Are there a performance from your faves that you are certain is lip sync and one that you are certain is live?

Here's an example of a live performance of DNA. I think you can notice the lipsync at 1:25 mark.

I kinda feel like Jimin is lipsyncing during his entry too. I could understand piecing that background vocal in during that part cuz of the jumps. I think a lot of mostly live performances have little pieces like that. It's just too hard to sing while jumping. Anyway, good performance. DNA is my fave BTS song. I love the choreo too.

Or like here's another one. This isn't the studio version, but I feel like this was either pre-recorded or the audio is from a different take.
