Could there be an Unread Threads button or soemthing

I asked this the other day about whether there was one and there wasn't so my question is could there be?

ie. just like how now there is an unread posts button tab (whatever you call it)

could there also be an unread threads button?

Like if I afk or sleep or whatever and there's a bunch of new threads created besides the very latest 10 threads I can't see threads were created before then so I would like maybe an unread threads button/panel/tab...
