Who benefits more with the lack of Blackpink and BTS comebacks?

  • NCT has a huge Korean fandom rn I don't think bts's comeback would effect them much. And aespa too, have a concept really distinct their target audience ain't even BP's. BP's target audience likes itzy more remember how they ate up mafia in the morning? So itzy. And for BGs maybe txt.

  • some of you guys are really sad and pathetic with the way you keep pushing this narrative. all the big3 groups you are trying to shade wouldn't have sold any less if bts and blackpink made comebacks, it is not like they share fans anyway, not with the way theor fandoms are terrorising the shit out of everyone else. the korean general public wouldn't have liked next level any less even if blackpink released 100 songs last year.

anyway, you all come off as bitter and insecure so keep telling yourselves these groups wouldn't have been as successful if bts and blackpink had comebacks if it makes you sleep better at night.

    THIS

  • None. No groups success depends on another group just like their failure does not either

  • BTS? In the kpop sphere, those ranked from far 2nd places onwards.

    BP? Aespa obviously.

  • As much as kpop fans like to deny it kpop fans don't like to wait for the comebacks and move on to newer groups when their faves stop making comebacks regularly. Kpop fans are the biggest reason why kpop groups in general have expiry date. They only want new shiny things. Bts hiatus helps the next biggest boy groups. I have seen alot of armys move on to txt, enhypen, nct, stray kids, ateez in this bts hiatus. This forum also has good number of users who did so. Blackpink hiatus benefits smaller girl groups more than the next biggest.

  • :whatr: all of them benefit by BTS and BP whole existence. Just having their mvs show up in recommended is passive free publicity, same when they get recommended on another platform. This effect is even more prominent when they actually do comeback, though.

  • with bp, gg benefit more. not that other gg wouldn't do good if bp had a cb, but bp would get a lot of the gp attention if they came back. however, korean gp seem to be just very into sm acts lately & i wouldn't put that on bp not having a cb.

bts' lack of cb doesn't really help anyone, except maybe for txt. hybe has been trying to convert armys for the longest time (like any big company would do with their most succesful act) so bts not having a cb & army getting starved is good for them. however, the numbers proof that it's not working, at least not noticable. all the other bg have a very different demography, so i dont think bts lacking cb is helping them (except for maybe the mediaplay they can do now).

  • People mention Aespa like NL didn't outchart the last 2 or 3 songs BTS dropped and charted better than anything BP has ever released. Period. Even Savage is prob gonna run 90% of their titles.

  • Judging from this forum it's tXT and aespa

Wether you want to admit it or not, no music or content make their fans look for it in other groups

In BTS case, army went to txt, the babies. While blink went to aespa
