I never understood why people were calling it that.
My guess is it's the fake news narrative that RV antis and other-group stans esp stans of other girl groups launched, and bandwagoners went with it, just like how they went with the fake narrative that said that groups like Super Junior and SNSD were talentless and couldn't sing - until it was proven over and over and over again with facts how false that was, and they could no longer use that fake narrative to shade.
The truth is, that Power Up did actually extremely well: it got to #1, then did something even rarer, it achieved a PAK something that most other #1 hit songs never achieved and afterwards, even if it didn't have the same longevity that some other PAK songs had, for a song that only had 4-5 months to chart it still ended up high on Gaon's year chart, higher than a lot of other songs that are considered strong hits by 'AKP experts'.
Same with Queendom: people think it just did ok, but it still peaked high on Gaon and proved to have better longevity than other songs that are considered hits by 'AKP experts' (or other-gg stans with louder voices)
