Aespa members popularity ranking in various countries ( observation )

    I would say it’s between Karina and Giselle for second place, impossible to know who has the edge. Only Winter has a significant amount of J-fans in Aespa, the rest seem kind of divided and there aren’t THAT many

    West ( yes a combination of pretty much every country because we often forget us western kpop stans are actually a minority lol )


    I would say Karina with fans and Ningning with non fans. A lot of non fans appreciate NN despite not stanning. Overall Karina with us western fans .

    I think Giselle and Ningning have the potential to be loved in the west. Giselle is really likeable (Outside her scandals) and appears to have the most love for western music (with NN). I hope sm let Giselle rap more cause she's really good and has a lot of potential. Karina and Ningning have taken China and Winter (and with more push) Giselle can take Japan, all that's left is a one of them to raise popularity in the West (mainly America, Europe, Canada etc) and I think Giselle or Ningning can take that crown

    Not sure about korea ranking, winter could be a more popular between non fans or casual fans but when it comes to fandom, i'm not sure who has the biggest korean fandom, karina and winter. Karina for sure has one of the most dedicated fandoms in aespa.

    giselle is def never going to be popular in the west. her nword scandal alone will keep a lot of potential fans away from her but her visuals are honestly more in tune with east asian beauty standards, not rlly west. the only member from aespa that i can see being popular in the west is karina (from non kpop stans)

    It's giselle and ningning personalities what fit with the west. They are more relatable to western fans than karina or winter.


    Only some people will care about the n issue. Kpop fans are only loud online, a lot of them are antis who have no interest in stanning aespa but the reality is other.

    Everywhere Karina and winter are more popular by a lot tbh, I hope sm can give ningning and Giselle more opportunities maybe they can go viral and that will help with their popularity

    Winter is the most popular overall, especially with all demographics but I'd say Karina sells the best. Her fandom is the most dedicated and has the biggest selling power. Ningning has potential. The reason why she doesn't have a ton of stans is because she hasn't gotten a chance to show off her talent. The West especially loves token-stanning a "talented member", so once she gets the chance to sing more live and perform some stuff, I think her popularity will become more consistent.

    I don't agree. Winter is the most "looked-out" about but she has a lot of C-haters (Kinda like Karina overseas). It's mainly because she has the most dedicated C-stans (although there's less of them) that her C-bar has risen. Ningning has the general public's attention too (so many of her sales are not just from C-bars but also independent retailers) and once Aespa becomes more visible in China she'll get more attention. Karina however still has the highest trends, and will sell the most.

    I actually think Karina>Ningning>Winter are quite similarly popular in China, it's really Giselle's C bar that is much smaller.


    What about SEA? Ningning and Giselle are pretty popular among them (especially their visuals).

    their music and performances. Western people like good performances and performers... ningx2 is not getting any promotion from SM but once she does, they will stan more because she has "talent" and is "different". Winter has that ace quality, and ofc Karina's visuals/vibes(?) like a model set them apart. Ningning's visuals are the most appealing to Westerners so she has potential.

    During their performance in Coachella, Ningning became viral in Twitter among locals asking who that Blonde girl was?? She became #4 trend in Twitter worldwide and one of her fancams during their coachella performance gather a lof of views and became a hot topic in Weibo, so I would said she is the stan attractor for non fans.

    In SEA it's Winter>Ningning>Giselle>Karina? Or something like that. Giselle was certainly 2nd in SEA during debut but I think it's dropped slightly. They aren't that big in SEA yet but there's a lot of potential. I agree Giselle & Ningning have a very big chance especially with fangirls. Winter generally gets a lot of fanboys.

    If Ningning keep it up, then she mignt be the most popular overall worldwide. Of course in Korea and Japan, she will not for obvious reason. Her engagement on twitter is kinda insane.

    She wasn't even on top 10 most mention artist during coachella.. Ningning popularity reminds me of Jihyo from twice... Popular among non fans.
