She won't be named because of her name on top 10 artists. AI algorithm will not understand her name: Most people spell it Ning Ning (with a space) or Ning2 or simply Ning. So only ones with Ningning will count. That's why Ahn Yujin has dropped so low on brand reputation even though she's more popular than ever: all her fans use Yujin and not Ahn Yujin.
I think she's a bit like Jihyo but I don't think Jihyo has such a big C-Bar as her so. As long as the popularity gap gets smaller Aespa should be fine. Karina and Winter will always be ahead.

Most popular doesn't mean most stanned. Karina is easily the most stanned/biggest involved fandom but not the most popular in the Western fandom. Like Hyoyeon in America vs the rest of SNSD is what is going on w/Ningning. Karina is still most popular internationally, she has more Chinese, European, other places..etc, but in America I doubt. Is she the most stanned, yes.

Look at this map. Ningning wins in terms of overall mentions but you can see the popularity distribution (not fandom). Winter = SK for Coachella, Karina in some countries and Ningning in others.

Hyoyeon’s supposed popularity in America was a big lie kpop stans told themselves because she was always the least popular in Korea/Japan/China.
In reality, none of Snsd was popular in America and 90% of Sones always biased Taeyeon. If anything you could say Jessica/Tiffany were most popular stateside if only for the fact that they were Korean American.
That Hyoyeon being popular in America/Europe meme is based on nothing but a reaction video where the guys noticed her a bit more than the other members. Can we all lay this myth to rest please?
