I just check that they chart on melon top 100 and their album sales hit 100k mark. Who are they? I know they are from idol school but aren’t they like nugu group?

They're a mid tier group but they kept rising and gaining attention so they're kind of a major name now.

The song We go helped (it charted on various Korean charts) them rise and i do feel they did get exposure by being absorbed under the hybe umbrella. It's a combination of things. They'll rise more. From what i get is they r quite popular with male fans given they appear on various military gg polls.

fromis_9 is a girlgroup that debut in 2017 formed by the survival show idol school.

girlgroup with the most budget right now. Watch their music show stages they have better stages than kepler ive aespa got the beat. Their performance video is as good as aespa's.

They were once memed as Youtubers because they uploaded alot of youtube clips on their channels, which IMO helps international fans know more about the members. Plus fans puts alot of edits from vlive and their youtubes into compilation for ease of viewing. I only knew of this recently as an international fan, and that's how I knew of it lol.

Since they got that HYPE money know, Im sure they'll grow. Their songs not bad either. Youtube's a great way for artists to reach international audience, but there's so many competitions that its hard to follow every single one. ))):
