☾♛☽ EXO Badge Petitions

The holiday badge petition discussion was confusing to have in the lounge, so I hope it is okay to make a thread about it.

Our Universe holiday badge is scheduled to come out on the 18th. If we want to try for another holiday badge, February is the last month for it. The event or performance the badge is for has to be tied into an end of the year festivity, the winter season, or a holiday such as Xmas, Lunar New Year, or Valentine's Day. Some of the suggestions so far have been a badge based on the Olympics performance, an awards badge of some kind, and Baekhyun's Amusement Park video. I would suggest trying for Baekhyun plus an EXO badge since there are three winners, but there are already two big competitors going for badges this month.

My personal opinion is that whatever we do should be eyecatching with pretty closeups, because I feel like those make the best badges when you look at tiny gifs. Do you guys have any ideas?

As for the Olympics, I love the *idea* of it but I'm unsure how the execution will turn out. Because of the nature of the performance, the shots were set up for widescreen viewing with very few close ups. Almost all the gifs I've seen were wide shots. The badge is square. I think this is the only one I've seen that is even close to square. Everything will be very cropped on the sides.

So this would need to be cropped more. (Chanyeol baby, what is you doing? Lol)

So i grabbed some gifs that are already out there and just quick and messy cropped them to get an idea and I think it will work. It loses a little something cuz it won't have the scope and it won't have really nice closeups, but it could be cool. I think I'll actually try to some nicer Square gifs for it this weekend and put together the petition if this is the one most of us want

lol making gifs is harder and more time consuming that i was expecting. I'll keep working on it, but in the meantime
