This reply to people undermining Wonyoung's stage injury has said it all

  • So, Jang Wonyoung was performing and injured her leg but continued dancing and singing despite bleeding a lot.

A lot of people felt really bad for her, but praised her for her professionalism and attitude.

Some people though, they kept saying that considering how much she's paid, she should suck it up and keep on performing and that performing injured is expected of her (? lol) and that she doesn't deserve praise for just doing her job/being professional.

But this person really told them!

Being a professional is giving your all to a task you were assigned. What else could it be? Why would you try to cut her down by leaving comments like "well it's the least she can do considering how much she's paid"... well, maybe you yourself are a professional at leaving hate comments.

  • IDK, I'd bet good money that I get a more consistent salary than most idols (unlike most idols, my job is required to pay me weekly not "eventually, if we decide that you made enough money"), and my work has never expected me to just suck it up and keep working while bleeding.

It's crazy the expectations people will apply to celebrities that they feel they are themselves exempt from.
