What was the gap a few years ago?
For me it seems Jhope and Jin doesn’t really stand out so much - Suga keeps to himself a lot and RM too.
I thing gen. Z likes: Jk, V and Jimin, Suga
Boomers: RM, Jhope and Jin
The gap between MaknaeL and HyungL was much bigger and obvious. Jin and Jhope were probably at the bottom, Suga was most popular after the maknaes.
But in recent years all the hyungs have become much more present in the fandom.
I remember in 2017 most videos on yt were about taekook this, jikook that, yoonmin here. I hardly found videos just dedicated to the hyung line, especially jin&Jhope, and if then the views were much less.
But eversince 2018+ the fandoms have spread much more evenly and fair. All the hyungs are getting love and support. And as I said, I don't think the gap in popularity is that big because I mainly see ot7 armys that love everyone

That’s kind of weird given that the first few albums were rap based (I love them).
So Jin needs a solo like Jhope?
And when JK releases a sole it will explode again with solo stand?
No jin wasn't that underrated at all and atleast around me we had many jin stans. Due to him having a lead role in Bts's theory he was talked about a lot. But his solos are much louder now. Jk is already famous if he releases solo obviously its gonna explode.

Jungkook is still the most searched/talked about member on almost all social media platforms. And if we were really to take marketshare and followers as metrics than TikTok which overtook Twitter last November has Jungkook the most viewed/liked/searched kpop idol
Asides from 2021, Jungkook was the most searched idol on Google 5 years before Taehyung was more searched in more countries.
