Solos didn't work out? I guess every kpop girl could go solo and just as easily nab Rosé's two top 10s on Melon 24Hits (with English songs too) and 650k album sales. Or Lisa's 800k sales, 2 US Hot 100 entries, and months charting on Spotify Global 50. Snowdrop and its actors were harassed to hell for nonexistent historical distortion yet the show is still #1 on Disney+ Korea everywhere and the highest rated JTBC drama on air right now.

And, ah, yes hyping dying down but they are still topping brand reputation and Gallup with no music and outstreaming every other girl group in the world on the biggest music platforms

Jisoo may as well stay with YG for acting because their acting division is run well. So in your scenario they may as well remain as Blackpink.

If they're at all frustrated by their careers they won't stay with YG when practically every large K-Pop company would want to take them.
