Why do people like fake tan?

I don't get it

They want to look healthy

No they look bad

all those weird not matching spots, mostly on their hands and than they never fake tan their face so if they do makeup it looks odd

idk but it's considered attractive in western countries just like how some asians bleach their skin because light skin is considered attractive in asian countries.

Because being pale in the west means you look unhealthy. So the fastest and easiest way to tan is to use fake tan. But obviously people go way overboard with it and end up looking like burnt toast.

because it gives the illusion they are rich and can go have vaccations in faraway exotic places to get such a tan.

Do you not understand why people want to look tan or is it specifically using fake tan?

well it depends on wich kind of fake tan

there are the bad ones

and really nice ones

i would love to look like this one
