American Sales And Fans Arent Everything

People need to realize that its kpop, not american pop. Just because a group is flopping amongst american fans doesnt mean theyre flopping for real. Like, people say LOONA and other girl groups are super famous and iconic, but theyre hardly even big in Korea. And I especially wanna bring up award shows like MAMA and MMA. People will get mad if a song popular with american fans doesnt win and say "oh but it was everywhere so how did it not win" its a korean based community so obviously if a song is only popular to americans and not koreans, it wont win an award.
