what are your thoughts on 10+ album versions?

  • I don't like them, one of my fave groups did member versions for one album (their 10+ members) and it just bothers me cause I'd rather get one album and everyone in there than everyone's versions you know?

  • There's not that much to it,it's common sense that it's a dirty cash grab method.

  • No one is buying versions for members they don't like and even if there weren't member only versions if someone wants to buy 10 copies they're gonna buy 10 copies regardless of how many versions there are. These people aren't held at gunpoint. :suure:

  • Let the fans be scammed if they want, I only one

  • Cash grab

Also determines which member gets more solo activities

  • Companies want more money. They'll do it as long as fans buy them.

    Why is this in anon?

  • Money grabs. Remixes too.

  • Why 10? Why not this same concern around 5? You only need 1 version.

    exactly.

unless the versions provide different contents, different album covers don't boost sales as much as people seem to think. what really boosts sales is cheap jewel case versions because many fans can't afford buying (multiple versions of) a photobook album and jewel cases are very affordable and easier to bulkbuy.

Otherwise, fans who want to bulkbuy or photo card collectors will buy several copies whether there are multiple versions or not.
