How big of an audience would these groups who sell insane amounts actually be able to pull in a tour?

    All units together, NCT sold several millions in 2021. That would suggest that a tour could also pull somewhere in the few millions at least. But somehow, looking at their last tour numbers and the venues they play, that is unlikely to be a reality. Enhyphen also sold 1M in record time, far more quickly than Blackpink managed it. But could they match BP's touring numbers (tbh they would be going on their tour with like a similar amount amount of songs BP had at the beginning of their 2018/2019 tour)?


    Same goes for Aespa. They sell comparably to Twice and will be outselling them soon enough. Their numbers on BB200 are also much better than even Twice's 2020 numbers with M&M. But would their tour numbers be comparable overall, or even in the US?

    Albums aren't the same thing. A lot of these groups get majority of their sales from China so it won't necessarily translate to them selling out europe, u.s or latin american tours. Let's not even forget album sales increase is due to a lot of bulk buying, not always massive fanbase increases

    check streams. they are more indication of popularity.

    NCT's last tour(s) happened literally years before they started selling 2M per album so your deduction skills don't add up.

    Their sales are massively inflated relative to their popularity. You have to look at where the sales are coming from and how they are experiencing so much growth, yes part of it is thanks to new fans but most of the increase in sales is coming from the number of versions their albums have as well as c-fans who are known to bulk buy.

    If I had to guess NCT can probably do a 500k attendance tour.

    Inflated Album sales don’t reflect true popularity. Monthly listeners and streams do. None of these groups are pulling your numbers reflective of their album sales because their streams and listeners are poor

    They wouldn't be this brave if nctzens on this site actually fought back like most other fandoms do. But having so many antis is a good thing imo, they're all hiding away in anons and it further proves nct's popularity-do you see anyone on here shading unsuccessful groups as much?
