    But when is YG ever smart? They'll probably hermetically seal them off from the rest of the company like they did with Blackpink, and I doubt they'll get so lucky twice.

    The only way for that to happen is YG completely sabotaging BP for their new girl group. Still though, that company's brand is not what it used to be so even that might not be enough.

    A new kpop group marketed as Blackpink's (or any top group) beloved siblings won't be that big. They'll always be in the shadow of the company's biggest group.

    Txt and itzy are a very good examples.

    You must be new to kpop if you think ygngg debut won't be overshadowed by BP like NCT, RV and TXT were by their seniors in their early years. Even Twice still is bigger than Itzy despite the latter having a debut hit song.

    aespa debut worked well because Red Velvet was nowhere to be seen for a year, people were craving for novelty.

    The only way ygngg wont be overshadowed is if YG sacrifice BP like they did to 2ne1.

    Probability of that group being successful is very low. Groups that come after top ggs hardly do well

    It is still not the same situation. BP are way more profitable than 2ne1 ever was and they are hard carrying the company. YG are dumb as hell so they might still ignore BP for their new group but it is less less likely
