I know, right? They're bothered by his confidence in being himself or what not. Just a bunch of insecure losers making fun of someone who is brave enough to be himself, which is something they clearly can't do irl so they take their frustrations out at idols and other celebs.

Most of the quotes weren't making fun of him but using it as a reaction meme, there were a few making gay jokes which could be uncomfortable to him especially if he's not gay or closeted. Yeah. It's so silly but there was a lot of homophobia under, about and in the quote rts of that tweet. Some funny, harmless jokes too, but when you keep reading the comments it gets too much. IDK if his hiatus and mental state is over that, but he's been stan twitter's favorite new target rcently.

His classmates accused him of bullying them and he got witchhunted until they released their messages and it turned out he was telling them, hey, you guys, maybe you shouldn't be going out carelessly in peak pandemic time, please be careful for others and yourself! And they were making fun of him for it and they ended up being the bullies and he just a kind and responsible guy so in the end he got a lot of praise after the meh initial reaction.
