Shouldn’t people be more critical of Big 3 idols abilities if what they say is true

They like to say “Getting into Big 3 is like getting into Harvard”. In that case you EXPECT their dancing and singing skills to be not just up to par but higher than average. But if a Big 3 idol struggles in one of these areas they say “DONT JUDGE THEM”. So what is the truth, are Big 3s supposed to be considered like Harvard students or State/City college level? While nugus/small companies are community college level.
