Any group that debuts under the big 3 is privileged, this is not up to debate. The big3 has more money, which means better quality music and MVs. Once a group debuts they instantly get fame, but a group that debuts under another label will not get that type of success in an instant. Look at Aespa, they just debuted and there already brand ambassadors for Givenchy! How is that not screaming privilege? And people will reply "Oh it's because the Givenchy CEO liked them so that's not an arguement" it is a though, because Aespa have privilege from debuting under SM more expensive brands will notice them compared to group that debuted under a smaller label. Yes, that doesn't mean those idols didnt work for what they have now but the company is a big reason for their success. You get special treatment if your in the big3, its not some time of conspiracy theory that needs to be analyzed? The big3 have been in the game for a long time so of course there groups are gonna hit it big once they debut. Just because I say all of this doesn't mean that I am bashing any big3 groups but this can also be used for groups that aren't from the big3, BTS are from a small company and worked hard to get fame, but now they are privileged because they have money and success, they do not need to worry about their music doing bad because they have a dedicated fandom behind them streaming and voting and supporting their every move, some groups dont even have a dedicated fandom. Saying a group is privileged is not an insult it is the truth, Not everything is hate and privilege can be used as a good word as I just described BTS good privilege.

Big3 privilege exists.

No one denies big 3 privilege, it's just when people use it to drag the groups down then only fans go defensive. Bcoz some people make it sound like big 3 groups don't work hard.

What's up with AKP users writing long essays stating something obvious, clicking "Publish Thread" and thinking they did something?
damn y'all really thirsty for akorns huh

That is true but if the group has no talent and just sucks they will not be a good group

I don't dispute big 3 privilege but having more money doesn't tell you anything about musical quality. It's about who you have, not what you have.

Still they have better producers and music equipment to produce better music.

There's people that produce music in their bedroom that can produce better music. As I said, it's about who, not what.
Just because X has a $97,000 setup and Y has a $500 setup, doesn't mean X will make better music than Y.

Is this a bad or good thing

Big3 'privileges' offer bare minimum (good connections, good dorms, food, good music...) and it sucks how that is seen as privilege when it should be a must/common in every company.
I am honestly sick of companies which exist just to make quick cash from kids dream.

This is true. Didn't Billie win a grammy with an album which was made in her bedroom?

I'm in between cause there's certain things that are privilege, I stan Aespa and I can see they got their brand ambassadors thing cause of their SM company but also because he liked the girls looks and styles I mean if you been keeping up with Aespa the girls especially NingNing and Giselle be flossing with $1k fur coats so it's a mixture of privilege and the girls fashion sense. I mean RV didn't get brand ambassadors or anything in their first years or something major like Aespa

Now it’s big 4 privelege
