Prosecutors ask for 3 years in Prison for AMY ; 2021.12.09

Broadcaster AMY (real name Lee Yoon-ji, Age 39), who was arrested on the third drug charge, denied the charges at the first trial.

As Amy's side disagreed with the evidence, the prosecution applied for two witnesses, including Mr. Oh, to prove their charges. The court accepted this and decided to continue the trial on January 13 (2022), next year, and proceed with the interrogation of witnesses.

Amy was caught and arrested on drug charges by the Gangwon Police Agency's drug crime investigation unit in September 2021. Amy, who made her name as actress through TV Show programs such as 'The Villain's Diary', was sentenced to eight months in prison and two years of probation for Propofol (illegal drugs) in Year 2012. AMY was S.K Court forcibly deported (to USA = Citizen , in Year 2015).

She returned to South Korea when her (to USA) deportation period expired in January (2021). But she was put on trial (now) after she was arrested for tampering (September 2021) with her illegal drugs again after seven months residing again in S.KOREA. .

Sales organizations that mass-distributed $20 Million USD worth of drugs and drug users who purchased them were arrested.

Among the female drug users was broadcaster AMY (Age 39). She is handed over to prosecutors after Amy was arrested on charges of administering methamphetamine on more than one occasion. Although she was sentenced twice for taking propofol in 2012 and zolpidem in 2014, she was arrested by the police after entering Korea in January of this year for tampering with drugs again.
