who has more privilege? aespa or ive?

    Different privileges for both


    Aespa had the privilege of having a pre fandom even if their members where not known, and even if they hadn't taken off with NL they would still have found success and followed in the footsteps of RV, so the worst possible scenario with them was being only top5 in this gen, that was their "privilege"


    I've privilege was that they had the pre debut hype because of Wonyoung and Yujin, star members of Izone, their privilege was being more exposed than other groups for their debut. This "privilege" of them can go to waste with the next comeback if they don't maintain the hype, so they are not set. If they do then this privilege of their payed off

    IVE’s only privilege is having Wonyong

    some may argue Yujin too but she doesn’t come close to WY’s level of fame


    Aespa come from big 3 = way more people anticipating their newest GG since Red Velvet , the company itself has 10x more connections and seeing how Starship is repeating IVE’s outfits clearly they’re tight on budget

    Definitely Aespa.


    Aespa's debut flopped but since they're a group from SM they still had many chances to become successful because the "SM" label attached to them would always bring them attention.


    Wonyoung and Yujin cannot do the same for IVE what SM can do for Aespa, it was either they made big impact with their debut or they'd struggle a lot in the future.

    Some people are really equating the power of two teenage girls to the power of the biggest company in KPOP which has been around for decades, debuted some of the most influential groups ever, and invested millions into their new gg??

    And IVE privilege is getting all of their debut achievements downplayed because TWO out of 6 of their members come from a previous popular gg.


    Just ask any idol where they rather debut, a mid size company with mid tier groups that rarely get hate OR a big4 company that have the most popular groups in kpop that often get hate and there's your answer about which one have the most privilege.


    Look I love aespa, but let's not act dumb here. Just because we like a group doesnt mean we can't be rational about which one is luckier.

    omg it's not a contest... both are going to be downplayed for different reasons and both are doing well regardless. Let antis stay made that both groups are doing well.

    Is this even a question? Aespa amd any big3 + hybe groups are way more privileged. Stop acting like wonyoung and yujin are more powerful than these companies.

    That's not true. The other members might have grown popular but not as fast as they did with wonyoung.the hype wouldn't be there and the gp in korea wouldn't bother to check out the group. the sales wouldn't be so high either
