    I kinda agree with her tbh. I did my studies in a field thats said to be respectable and lucrative. But I got a job in the field of arts which is looked down on. However the arts job payed a whole chunk above the jobs I was getting for the field i studied in.


    My coworkers purely pursued the arts..... drawing, writing, singing and acting. It actually paid much better than the jobs from the so called lucrative field. Kids join tuitions from such a young age, sacrifice their childhood to get into top science/commerce colleges that a rich kid can swoop into easily. It is lucrative but only for the top 1-5% cuz the market is oversaturated with the same professions.


    There needs to be more understanding of how the job market works and what it wants. Not just oversaturate a few top jobs to the point where it loses its value as a degree.

    Yeah, her thought process is very mature, which is probably why it resonated with so many people going through exams or who have gone through them.


    I am also pursuing a different field to what I went to school for, so yeah, you never know where life will take you. You just have to be prepared for the journey.
