Why do jyp stans think jyp groups are famous globally?

    twice is second to blackpink in global popularity, skz are probably the biggest 4th gen and among bgs, they're usually second only behind bts in spotify and youtube streams and various other metrics, itzy are quite popular among global kpop fans too

    Because they are, for KPOP standards? Excluding bts and bp, twice, itzy, txt and stray kids are leading. That's 3 JYP groups


    I would say in terms of international popularity it's HYBE > JYP > YG > SM

    I don't know about the ggs but I know that skz have a plenty of casual listeners who aren't fully kpop stans, if that's what you're looking for

    Only bts & bp to lesser extent are famous globally. JYP/SM groups are not close in comparison but their stans are obviously trying to deny reality

    them being 2nd don't mean they have global popularity, the gap between BTS and SKZ and BP to TWICE is very very big.

    the only groups known outside the kpop bubble are BTS and BP, all JYP groups are big inside the kpop bubble and on asia.

    jyp groups are doing very well internationally for kpop standards

    you do understand that bts and blackpink are just an exception, right?

    twice is only second after blackpink, so I'd save my energy. Makes even more sense to talk about sm groups

    You are the one lying to yourself. BTS are definitely way ahead but BP are the only ones who are also very known even if just by name. You don't get to be friends or collab with big western artist by being a random kpop group. And they are also mainstream in most of asia, sounds pretty global to me
