This does apply more to men since muscle mass is part of male beauty/sex appeal standards, it's a very common insecurity for males so I promise you you're not alone. Some females can feel insecure about their thin arms too
Personally speaking I don't really care that my arms are thin (I'm a female btw). Only thing I worry about in regards to my arms is making sure my elbows aren't ashy

I've always had thin arms and wasn't that strong. Thus, as soon as I was old enough, I went to the gym to gain some muscle and strength. Not only for aesthetics, but it's also nice to be able to lift heavier things when you need it. One of most important things is to be able to lift yourself up a wall, you never know when you will need it in an emergency.
