this (the video) is from the Philippines. most people who are labeled 'plastic' are those who are ingenuine and insincere. When they see you as someone like that, oftentimes, when you get to be the topic of someone else's conversation and you're named like it, it's a sign of social status decline. Basically like a "two-faced" term but in Filipino form.

edit: No one claimed that the Philippines invented the word "plastic". I am just pointing out that particularly in the Philippines, this is how they interpret a "plastic person" on a subjectified stance.
