Stats Prior to the comeback :

• Kai KAI sold 360k on Gaon
• Mmmh crossed 100mil on YouTube and 70mil on Spotify
• He currently has 1.46mil Monthly Listeners on Spotify
• Mmmh spent 60 consecutive days on the Spotify Viral chart and peaked at #3. It entered the Spotify Viral Chart in 59 countries
• Kai - The 1st Mini Album reached 87 iTunes no. 1s
• Mmmh reached 68 iTunes no. 1s
• Mmmh has 43mil streams on Melon and 310k ULs
• Kai surpassed 100k combine digital album sales in Chinese Music platforms (QQ Music/Kuwo/Korgou)

Looking at ktown preorders I think he’ll at least do 1.5 times his previous sales. So my bet is 500k. He might do more idk idk. But my feeling is at the minimum he’ll do 500k

Surpassed 60k on ktown. We still have few days of pre orders left and sales usually jump on the last couple of days

He surpassed 90k presaves on qq…his entire Chinese sales last time was 100k I believe so this is exciting

Mmmh is the most reamed SM Male soloist song on Spotify

In a few days it will become the most streamed soloist song at SM of all times

Make no mistake about it, kai is the most successful soloist SM has had internationally.

Sales have multiplied many times for everyone between 2020 and 21 Kek. It’s expected I think.

Anyway KAI mostly relies of general kpop fans as opposed to hardcore fans who buy albums and I’m fine with it. It shows in his views, fancams and streams and I love that for him.

Ofc if he gets sales I’m happy too but the amount of casual fans who like Kai and give him a chance makes me very happy
