Please clarify BTS positions for me

    Hey everyone i wanted to ask if the positions of BTS members on kpop profiles are real or they don't have positions just like recent hybe groups? And who's the face of the group ? Is taehyung not in dance line? And is suga lead rapper?

    the old profiles were assigned from debut and never changed and position stans will cling to them with their last breath as though calling J-Hope a sub-rapper makes any sense whatsoever


    realistically it would be (I'm not going by talent, but by how they are used in the group, otherwise V would be at least lead vocalist):

    JK: main vocalist, lead dancer, center (I know he was sub rapper at debut but he hasn't really rapped in years)

    JM: main dancer, lead vocalist

    V: visual, vocalist, lead dancer

    Jin: visual, vocalist

    RM: main rapper, leader

    Suga: main/lead rapper (depends on the song)

    J-Hope: main dancer, lead rapper


    there's no real face of the group IMO bc BTS as a brand are just so huge, there's no especially famous member you think of when you think of BTS. I'd say it varies between JK/JM/RM for most official media.

    I knew they dont have fotg saw some stans fighting over it and corrected them and jk stans jumped at me for not knowing jk is the official fotg.

    Exactly jhope being sub rapper doesn't make sense at all even taejin sub vocal doesn't make sense especially jin's live I'd say are the best after jk. And i was convinced suga is main rapper along with RM.

    Face of the group wasn’t even a title the boys used or BH. It’s kpop tradition tho. And fans been fighting if you are centre or the visual of the group then you are face of the group. So Jin and JK stans fight over this. I’d say JK is the higher stan attractor so this fits him along with RM that also many know internationally.



    The only titles I consistently see members and Bh use even recently is main vocalist/centre for JK

    Leader for RM

    Dance Leader for J Hope


    The others aren’t used or referenced much.

    Rappers: RM, Suga, J-hope

    Singers: Jungkook, Jin, Jimin, Taehyung

    Leader: RM


    This is the only positions you should remember but is not entirely exclusive. For example, Jungkook has rap lines in their earlier days. Rappers do sing to too.


    There is not too much of a value to put "lead" or "sub" in positions so don't stress yourself in not knowing that.

    I don't think hybe cares about positions anymore Bcs even in my universe RM the main rapper had no rap and jin and taehyung have center positions in many contents like photoshoots , album shoot and cfs

    RM - Leader, Main Rapper
    Jin - Vocalist

    Suga - Lead Rapper

    Jhope - Lead Rapper, Main Dancer

    Jimin - Main Dancer, Lead Vocalist

    V- Vocalist ( and some of fans said he is part of dance line? not sure about this, even tho I am army, but not sure to debate about this, all I know BTS Dance line is only 3Js)
    Jungkook - Main Vocalist, Lead Dancer, Sub Rapper
    (even tho he hasn't really rapped in years, but if they perform their old discog, he still do rap, also when Suga was absent from BTS schedule due his shoulder surgery, they perform "Best of Me" and Jungkook rapped Suga's part)


    Dance Line, 3Js. JHope, Jimin, Jungkook

    V is a part of dance line member themselves and song sung deok confirmed it. And taejin are visuals too.

    V is also a part of danceline as confirmed by members themselves and sung deok. And taejin hold are visual position too.
