One uses time and resources that can be used of other causes as well as creates pollution, while the other is pleasing to the eye straight out of the womb.
Buying new, fashionable clothes and makeup causes pollution. Buying video games, movies, and albums uses resources and creates pollution. Literally everything uses resources and creates pollution. As long as the person doing it is choosing to do it for themselves and it makes them happier, there is no issue.
Which, in the idol industry given the beauty standards... there is pressure to do it, but that's another discussion. The use of resources, time, and pollution isn't the issue in that anyways.

the beauty is fake and sometimes it's obvious or it looks scary so I disagree

i dont think its worse but if i see their stans hype up their visuals and comparing it with someone with natural visuals ill be there to correct them
Visualps is still visuals though, ps or not. As long as ps isn't obvious

Didn't want to start a new thread. I wish they didn't overfill her upper lip like that.

I don't mind PS at all but I also think it's totally fine to point it out when you notice it.
When you see a super sharp v shaped jaw for example and everyone's like ohhh, she's so pretty! Then it's important to point out that while yeah, she may be hella pretty, the human jaw isn't usually shaped like that. It's not weight loss, there's no need to start dieting.

people think if someone has 'natural' beauty, they're more elite or something, and people with plastic surgery are lowlife. because no matter what people will still compare the two 'see she/he are all natural! but look at that person, she/he is fake!'. beauty is within, but that doesn't count if someone has plastic surgery apparently.
honestly though, why does it matter if they do? We're a technological advanced race. if we have the power and methods to improve ourselves, why not do it? And im talking about non-excessive plastic surgery.
Society have such a backward stance. If you show a picture of an average looking person vs a good looking person, everyone will praised both and be like wow! they're so pretty! beauty is in the eyes of the beholder blahblah! wow they're gorgeous! but once you showed a before and after picture of a person and then a good looking person, all comments will goes to the plastic surgery person as 'omg! she/he was already good looking, why do PS' and etc.
It is like in our effort to pretend that EVERYONE physically is beautiful, so we don't look like an ass, we shades others that did it differently. just baffling.

then 99% of the kpop industry is ugly to you i guess

Hot take....
There is FA difference between PS and make up, except you can wipe one off at the end of the day.
Unless every idol performs and promotes bare-faced, people can get stuffed with the judgmental attitudes.
ALL idols look different on stage. They use make up and lighting and clothing to accentuate their visuals. PS is just more permanent.

I wish people could be happy with the face they were born with

I prefer how a few of my faves looked 2 years ago. They look too gaunt now-either from dieting or buccal fat removal. I wish people wouldn't be so obsessed about getting a V-line face. There's no one perfect face shape. One's face shape should be in harmony with one's other facial features as well as one's body proportions.
