Sometimes the way some kpop fans react is cringy

  • not necessary cringy but maybe sometimes I see it as "teen reaction" or "kids reaction"

    examples

Sometimes when a western song become popular and a lot of idols cover it, some idols censor words like "sh*t" ,"f**k"..etc

when some idols sing these words fans be like "omg he/she said xx word, they are different" I'm sorry what ? :pepestare:

another example is the comments on idols topics about tattoo, piercing, abs ..etc

I don't find it cringy when fans post about it but the comments! "omg he/she showed her tattoo", "her/his tattoos are so cool" and the comments under the post are only about the tattoo even if it's a group pic or video

  • Yeah, kpop fans hype the purest shit due to the conservative nature of kpop but you would see such similar reaction on Tiktok, Twitter or somewhere else in different fandoms. People hyping basically nothing is just part of fandoms

  • I mean tattoos are frowned on by some people and most of the networks make the idols cover them up when they promote so I get that part. It's nice to see them able to show off their tattoos when they can since they got them for a reason.

  • Agreed on people hyping idols for swearing... they're adults, they don't care lmao I guess it could also be a combination of cultural differences and younger fans that make this such a common thing though

As far as tattoos, I think it's fine to compliment tattoos. I like when people compliment mine and if I like someone's tattoo in real life I'll also mention it if we're talking. Yeah it can be annoying if the whole comment section's about a tattoo but if I see a nice tattoo, I'm gonna compliment it lmao

The cringiest thing kpop fans do is the "crack head" type videos/comments.... now those are BAD :pepe-cringe:
