    Well Itzy do way better on Spotify and on average YT too. Aespa's last song has the most ad's I've ever seen, I mean yeah Itzy use ad's too but straight up missing near 60 million from the YT charts is a joke.

    Aespa sell higher, but that's expected when the majority comes from China who bulk buy a ton and plus SM don't mind sales sitting on shelves, just look at NCT having a million unsold copies.

    Hard to know. In Korea? No, honestly they have more of a shot hoping Aespa naturally fade and fall below them as Itzy are not likely to rise at all domestically anymore after the Lia stuff, true or not it killed them.

    In China? Nope Aespa/SM acts tend to do better their so Aespa will have better sales probably always. But Both are similar level in Japan and Itzy are vastly more popular in SEA and the US even so touring will be much better for Itzy since Korean touring is dog poop and you can't tour China.


    Internationally, Itzy are more popular by a bit.

    Domestically/China, Aespa are vastly more popular and I don't see Itzy changing that.

    Also, what are you guys planning to do if your own faves start underperforming or "flopping" so to speak. Drop them, admit it was all superficial success stanning?

    I think Itzy is more of a Miss A than a WG or a Twice. both groups peaked at debut with a huge hit, had nice sales and a substantial standing during their respective times and Itzy will probably go on to have some other hits alone the line like Miss A did but they will probably not reach NGG top dog level, but you know what? that's perfectly FINE, they are already popular and successful and they are still at the start of their career, they don't have to be the absolute number 1 to be good enough, they already are.

    but LOCO has a higher (ads/total views) ratio than Savage so how are they doing better... Aespa performances doing the same numbers as the Swipe MV too. And LOCO did slightly better than Savage but the EP with 6 songs had better streams than Itzy's full album

In Japan Aespa's debut mini album is almost out selling Itzy's September released full album in a matter of 2 weeks. I sincerely believe they are on 2 different levels now and give aespa 2 years they will be out streaming Itzy as well.

    Aespa deopped Savage EP on October 5th and it has sold 15k copies in Japan so far.

    Yeah, I agree with the Miss A comparison for JYP, and yes, ITZY will do fine, they just won't be amongst the top 3 or so groups. There's nothing wrong with that. F(x) was similar in SM.

    Itzy definitely don't do better on Youtube. Anymore at least. You can go and check the views on performances from the same day in the past couple of weeks. Aespa has more likes and views by a significant amount.

    Aespa - Savage - 1.8mil views and 160k likes

    Itzy - Swipe - 600k views and 50k likes

    Itzy - Loco - 760k views and 52k likes, and this was another 2 weeks before the Savage performance previously mentioned.

    Not to mention Aespa is getting more than 5 times the views Itzy has on music show videos in both normal videos and all individual and full fancams
