A former friend "forgot" I invited him as my plus one for a wedding and was acting like he was coming to it and then I discovered he was on vacation with my ex friend and they planned to do that to embarrass me (which succeeded because the guests were supposed to pay for some things at the wedding and I had to pay for everything for him and I kept telling them that he was coming but he didn't come so I barely scraped up the money to get it and then the word spread about what happened and everyone pitied me except for the older aunties who were making fun of me for being single and dateless). One of the worst nights of my life but it was a long time ago and everyone who I was friends with ended up alienating those two and even some of their friends took my side so they just ended up looking petty and rude and childish.
The worst thing was that he was my friend and not even that close to her yet she still managed to convince him to blindside me like that.
