After School was crazy popular in korea when they were actively promoting as well as Orange Caramel. Kahi became a role model to so many because of the age she debuted at as well as her leader skills (voted one of the best groups leaders constantly when she was still a member), Uee was one of the first acting idols and even rivaled Yoona when it came to the “It Girl” status back in 2009-2011, plus there was Lizzy who became a whole phenomenon too. They were the ones who started the “sexy” concept in kpop and are regarded as one of the top performance groups as well as one of the top girl groups from the 2nd gen. They’re still within the top 10 best selling kpop girl groups in Japan of all time. They also released a song with the queen of jpop herself Amuro Namie. To this day, most korean articles that talk about legendary girl groups/ groups from 2nd Gen always mention After School and kfans still look forward to a possible comeback. But like at the end of the day sooooooo many people forget that After School has done all of this and group them into the “underrated girl group” or “flop” category.
