Should B-sides be promoted when they out stream most title tracks released in Jan?

If the groups extends its promotion schedule, then why not. Otherwise, it's better to stick to the title track I think.

I think you are overestimating the success of the song. The charts are dead right now.

My answer is yes, depending on the group.
There are some groups who consistently come back with only a good title track and very average b-sides.
Then there are groups (in my experience, fx, Red Velvet, G-IDLE) who release b-sides that are sometimes arguably better than their title tracks.
There's a reason those songs are charting even without promotion and it's because
They're good. Really good.
Quality b-sides deserve to chart well and be promoted.

But these b-sides are not even charting. January was literally dead when it comes to new releases
