wtf is going on with these music shows

I heard that music shows will be changing their criteria soon to make it easier for groups with big int fanbases so hopefully they can get on it before promotions end! I don't know too much about it but I think it's a great idea

They can still win the other music shows this week right

maybe bc of streams did they fill that too

These are korean music shows so they will as expected give more priority to korean fans and performance of song in korea than international

Golden child won with a good margin. Dreamcatcher needs to do better to win. Getting win is not easy.

It's the digitals. They have more than enough international fans, but we can't impact the score as well as a healthy Korean following can with the changes.

I would honestly say screw wins at this point, their sound isn't for the Korean GP, it is an international cup of tea. They are too good for this constant disappointment. The only thing that worries me is how much weight the company gives to wins. Their contract renewal is coming up soon...

If their company holds on to them for more years then they might see enough growth of the Korean fanbase but at this point it is hard not to lose hope for a first win because it's blatantly clear that Koreans simply don't like rock-orientated music. A sad fact that us int somnies have to come to terms with.

The best thing they could do for DC is hire a live band for touring/performances and go full on promo in the west. I have no doubt they would see a damn sight more success.

The other group won by a decent margin, voting is not the only thing that matters. Sucks for dreamcatcher as they deserve some music show wins but that's just how it works.
