I don't want to name the specific group or fandom cuz that doesn't really matter, but I was looking at a random post on my insta explore that asked what is your favorite ship/the best ship in this group, and it didn't have many comments, but this one person was like "um blankety-blank ship is real, there was a video of them kissing, but it got taken down cuz it was a sasaeng" And I'm just like, "Oh, how fcking convenient that the "video" isn't around, but you expect everyone to just take YOUR word for it? You think mentioning a sasaeng somehow makes what you say legit?" Sasaengs are obviously scum, but you shouldn't bring them up in your own little lies just to shift the burden of proof off of you.
You expect me to believe the word of one random international fan on an instagram comment section even though I've never seen anybody else in the fandom make such a claim before, or seen any related discussion or discourse. I literally looked up several different key words and phrases on social media and got zilch results back of people saying anything similar. Even other shippers aren't pulling this crap from my observation. Why do ppl who stan popular ships want them to be real so bad that they lie to get others on their side? This is even worse than people who photoshop idols kissing.
