One would think you'd be more like wow this person is really talented- I want to join this group. An example being Jungkook from BTS story about signing to big hit after hearing RM rap.

Honest confessions like this unfortunately don't help the pernicious stereotype that for females in KPOP- the main priority might be seen to be visuals not talent.
