Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. People with these symptoms may have COVID-19:

Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

New loss of taste or smell

Sore throat

Congestion or runny nose

Nausea or vomiting

Diarrhea

Look for emergency warning signs for COVID-19. If someone is showing any of these signs, seek emergency medical care immediately:

Delta Variant

The Delta Variant of SARS COV2 was first identified in December of 2020 in India. It quickly spread, becoming the dominant strain in India and Great Britain. This quickly took up more than 20% of all cases in the US. Reports show that it has now become the dominant strain worldwide. This virus is MUCH more contagious than the other virus strains.

Those who are not fully vaccinated are most at risk.
