BTS have already sold 3.36M Albums (Gaon + Oricon) this year with just 1 JPN Album release this year and no 2021 Korean albums.

From Just their JPN album relase BTS THE BEST's jpn sales (oricon sales) + their back catalogue sales on gaon (no new 2021 release yet).... BTS have already sold 3,366,840 albums in 2021.

Just gaon back catalogue sales they've sold 2.4M of old albums

+ 885,158 of BTS THE BEST (only jpn sales since its oricon, WW it technically has shipped 1.1M but i am using Gaon + Oricon for this number)

+ back catalogue of their JPN releases: 75,744

coming to a total of 960,902 sold on oricon in 2021

so 2,405,938 + 960,902 = 3,366,840 albums sold in 2021 with just BTS THE BESTs JPN sales + back catalogue sales

The fact that they are selling their back catalogue so insanely well just shows that the boys continue to grow.

Yeah this is likely as Oricon just counts Japanese sales of BTS, THE BEST

and we do know it shipped around 1.1M on its first day only. So if we were to use that number.. they've have around 3.5-3.6M with no new korean release

honestly... just want a normal roll out (ie 4 normally priced versions) to see the growth since MOTS:7... we still haven't been able to properly see it cause of BE's 1 expensive ass version than a delayed cheaper version. and now a single album (which is never gonna sell as much as a proper full album).

THe reason I really want to see the physical sales growth is i mean just look at their spotify streams... they went from around 13M daily spotify streams in early 2020 to 25M daily spotify streams.

Lets put it this way. BTSs growth between MOTS:7 and Dynamite was bigger in every metric than their growth between Persona (2019) and MOTS:7 (2020). Now they gained around 1m sales between Persona and 7 with pre orders going from 3M to 4M.

Now with growth not only from between MOTS:7 and Dynamite but from MOTS:7 to now(after Dynamite, BE and Butter)....... phew......
