Thinking an accent or a mispronunciation is cute is fine IMO. However, If one is using it as a means to degrade someone then yes. It's racist, elitist and rude.
Is it racist to poke fun at Idols' pronunciation of English words?

I think it can depend on how you make fun of how the idols speak English, but more often than not; it does come off as racist.

I find it endearing. Already English is an arse language so I don’t mind hearing something that sounds different from the usual

Intentions matter.
And in most cases, I don't think it falls under racism.
THIS RIGHT HERE.
If it's a valid critique of a song, then it's not racist at all.
If you're just mimicking someone's accent in a derogatory fashion, then it's racist af.
A side thought..Are Asians allowed to make fun of other Asians' accents the way white people are allowed to make fun of other white people, etc etc.?
