I am all for this, I will listen to ads voluntarily if the book is free, Amazon charges for their audio book service separately from Amazon Prime now and it is $20 a month and you can only redeem one book per month to own to read whenever you would like, AND you have ads.

I want the joker game audiobooks of the novels so badly... but amazon wouldn't let me buy them because i dont live in Japan....

If Spotify started going in this direction as well I'm sold forever. They seem to be doing very well with the podcasts, so why not start capitalizing on the audio book industry? Audible needs some decent competition because let's be real, their service is bad.
