No, to open up about the racism, homophobic, and mistreatment that K-pop faces from outside viewers.
Whether you want to believe it or not, these are issues that need to be talked about because it does not only contain to K-pop, but to a much wider and broad scale.
She hit a lot of different issues. Most aren't unheard of. I'm glad to see progress in terms of allowing for mental health breaks in the K-Pop industry. Still room for more improvement in different areas.
I still wonder about the issues around acknowledging and respecting people's humanity in the Eastern and Western worlds when it comes to id0ls personal lives, insensitive comments, etc. The same for listeners too; everybody wants empathy until it's time to extend some to another.
I also wonder if people have issues with K-Pop because it's primarily in another language or because the artists are Asian? I don't think we'll know until we get more decent English versions songs in the West. There are dope and talented artists and groups like Jessi, BM, BlackPink, Day6, and Seventeen who can do it effortlessly, so it's only a matter of time to know for sure.
