They're that group whose international fandom (mainly indonesians, I think) had went head to head with Mys last december for the rookie awards. For a rookie from a fairly unknown company, they have quite a lot of fans. I just hope those numbers will reflect in their sales.

Most of their fans (I'd say upwards of 90%) are Indonesian, mainly because it has an Indonesian member and the country is dying to have a representative in K-Pop. Indonesia is has the 4th largest population in the world, and the youth loves K-Pop and social media. Add that together and you have a social media superpower who's great at boosting SNS numbers but low numbers of fans willing to part their money.

From a marketing standpoint, it was a great move by the company though. Very few nugu companies would have the SNS numbers they do, and many more companies would benefit from adding members from Indonesia, Philippines & Vietnam - all countries that are highly populated, has strong SNS power and desperately want their own representatives in K-Pop.

This is true. Album price here also tend to be expensive so fans are even more reluctant to buy and when they do, there isn't a bulk buying culture like kfans or cfans that could boost the sales.
