Which group has the most overhyped/overrated discography on Allkpop?

    there are a lot of fans here and we share our favorite B-Sides and Titles all the time but because many users do hate them our threads get no traffic

    The second people say something is overrated, is the second it does not become overrated. Why you ask?

    Because overrated means highly rated. And the people that say something is overrated obviously don't rate it high, so it ain't overrated anymore.

    By the definition of overrated, BTS, since many armys say they have the only good discography in K-pop.

    I love them but Red Velvet. People always include them in topics about solid discography but a lot of their songs are hit or miss even beyond Zimzalbbim

    Just because a group's discography is overhyped/overrated, doesn't mean that they have a bad discography.


    With that being said...... Blackpink.

    Every group's but my fave

    Bts post hyyh. Always heard people praise red velvet for their discography but never get a chance to give them a listen. Anyway kingdom come slaps

    EXO : the albums always seem great at first (except Obsession) but they age badly very quickly


    SHINee : never got the hype, dull and forgettable


    BTS : very very few special song here and there and that's all. I would have unstanned if my faves released albums like persona and 7 back to back lol


    SNSD : they're one of those groups that only focus on singles, the bsides are all forgettable fillers.


    Bigbang : considering how much they used to hop on the latest trends, their music naturally became very dated after a while.

    BTS they're the nNckelback of kpop successful but boring music wise the majority of the time, but hey it works after all. Red Velvet also has an overhyped discography it's good but nothing compared to f(x) which was the gg before them. G idle is also very overhyped in kpop communities to me at least music wise.

    Pink tape is the most overhyped album

    I would say personally BLACKPINK since they don't have that much songs and too many ppl are claiming their quality is "over the top".

    But BLACKPINK's discography should not be disrespected. There are amazing songs in there.


    And ppl should appreciate ITZY's discography more.
