All these fall under nationalism bandwagon by current PRC regime to MCGA, Xi literally beat Trump to similar concept by couple years. They thought its about bloody time and are capable of striking out.

Military power wise China still trails behind the US by 1 to 2 decades they would not start war of guns and rockets

without good odds. But they are good with BS that sounds nonsense will leverage economic strength and China market for deals. Europe would suck up to that see how Biden gets to play. Hopefully Trump is wrong about the DEMs is weak.

their cyberwarfare is way ahead of the US, especially with growing ties with russia, the mother of all cyber nukes..

they also just signed a nuclear energy deal of all things..... ( china and russia)

Since new type of cold war has become inevitable between the US and China pressure ball deployment is not surprised.

Biden administration defined Russia an enemy China the primary competitor has pushed China leaned towards Russia as a strategic play while the US seeks alliance in Europe now rather than Trump. Both are gathering gangs for advanced stand off.

South China sea is new play ground to display military muscle. War games n parties around that water zone have been more intense since Biden got in the WH. The US is moving GIs and fire power from Europe and middle east to East Asia.

Whatever foul play Trump has done he was right about cyber infiltration from the other camp. Perhaps there are internet operatives in this forum spewing communism is flawless and other craps.

It's more complicated than that. Biden has been pressuring EU and UK to impose economic sanction on China, limit the import of Chinese product, no national trade deal with Chinese entity etc. The attempt was called out by Angela Merkel as imprudent egoistic action to start a new cold war.
