Why did people think they won't disband? Everything was pointing towards that.

It really feels like the end of an era and its sad. I hope they'll release a goodbye song.

not even a fan but that was sad to read. Gfriend already passed their peak but they weren't doing tragically, they still could sell 60k+ albums and chart. The members have individual activities, I wonder if something went wrong or they just decided to end it while they were still known and people cared about them. Like Sistar did.

With more contract renewal time coming for lovelyz, twice, wjsn, RV, etc and the debut and rise of new ggs, it really feels like the end of an era for girlgroups.

I don't get why GFriend are leaving, tbh. I thought MAGO was a great song and MV, 1 of the best of 2020, and a showcase of how GFriend could evolve beyond the girl-next-door concept.

I also thought they were fine under HYBE, so that their company Source Music has less to worry about money issues.

I thought they were doing alright. I didn't stan but if they are disbanding, it feels like the start of 3rd gen ggs disappearing
