Today is Victory day, that's why I ask it 
It's interesting to know what schools around the globe teach about WW2.
Like obviously US schools say it was US. Russian schools say it was USSR. German and Japanese schools pretend it didn't happen. (not true for German)
But what about schools from your country?
Or maybe you're from the USA or Russia and you have a not conventional opinion.
The idea people have here is that the US ended the war by nuking Japan.
But actually it was the USSR's capturing Berlin.
In the U.S. we pretty much learned how we turned the war around but I personally believe USSR made the most contributions and impact. No country suffered more casualties than USSR.

There is even an opinion that USSR's entering the war against Japan, and not Atomic bombs, was the main reason of Japanese capitulation. Soviets started the war and in 10 days destroyed 700k Kwantung Army. It was impossible for Japan to simultaneously fight with 2 superpowers
