Why don’t these dumb kpop companies invest in solo artist and GGs for the western market!

GG's while they have more marketing appeal do not gain strong dedicated fandoms like a BG does. Most of them rely on GP support so there is extra pressure on a song doing well in order to have sales. With so many American artists trying to appeal to the GP there is extra competition and its just not worth the trouble. Having a fandom means you don't need to worry about that, fans will likely buy anything that is released and you know for sure you can tour and sell albums which can make some real money.
