Can’t compare with snsd because they are the biggest gg sm ever produced. Tbh I never heard of fx before I was into kpop and how it surprised me to know that they were an sm group. So from my pov red velvet is bigger than them. If there are any 2nd gen stans want to refute my statement, you are welcome to do so
Red velvet vs fx, which group is bigger during their prime?

Red Velvet was slightly bigger. But only because kpop as a whole was bigger during their time and because they weren't active at the same time as SNSD.

Red velvet. I doubt fx's biggest hit was as big as red flavor.

RV. Competition back in 2nd Gen was huge, 3rd Gen it's literally only 6 groups fighting back then we had like 10 or more groups fighting
Exactly. Theres no way Red Velvet would be a top 3 group if they were competing against groups like Kara, Wonder Girls, T-ara, 2NE1, Sistar, SNSD, and countless others. 2nd gen was fierce.

Hot Summer sold over 3 million digitals. And Electric Shock became only the third girl group music video to cross 100 million views on YouTube.

Red flavor has all of this. Rf most probably moved more than 3M downloads given we already know it reached 2.5M. I was thinking more about korea where rf is bigger than any fx song. RV has 3 more songs reach 2.5M downloads. Did this in a lesser download market.
What electric shook achieved is great given the times. Comparing fx's international stat to rv's will again put fx at a disadvantage.
